Author: Darla Ponace

My name is Darla Ponace, and I am a Saulteaux woman from Zagime Anishinabek First Nation. I am currently in my 4th year of studies at the First Nations University/ University of Regina. I am working on attaining a diploma in Indigenous Communication Arts, a certificate in Saulteaux Language and Literacy, and the new (INJC) Indigenous Journalism and Communications certificate. I am grateful for all the wonderful opportunities INCA has opened up for me, and looking forward to utilizing my new skills acquired through the INCA program. :)
